Update #4: Balances and Bugs!
Hello everyone back with another update of Gods and Shadows. We've been continuing to iron out bugs, add quality of life changes, and add more art assets to round out the items in the game. Currently we have not added any new content and the focus has been entirely on fixing bugs and adjusting the game to make more sense to a first time player. By adding text boxes that help you know what npc should be spoken to, to removing issues with combat freezing, we've been trying our best to iron out the issues. In addition to that to help ensure that the game is a challenge and is inline with expectations, character abilities have been reduced in power. To start out character abilities are too strong and considering that you can level up your stats and they directly influence how strong they are very quickly. So to fix this the overall damage all characters do baseline has been reduced besides the wizard due to their high risk high reward playstyle. This should help enemies feel stronger and make losing a real possibility. Overall the game will be more rewarding as a result and feel more stable overtime.

Besides that here are all the changes and updates:
New Features:
- Journal now tracks quest requirements
- Added text boxes above npcs for clarity of their job
- Added balancing for enemy spawns based on levels
- Added blue beanie alternate outfit for archer
- Dragon has additional animations for fight
- Added run away button for the dungeon
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed issue with combat freezing
- Made dog and mage store inventories different
- Fixed issue with quests not saving properly
- Enemies move in the dungeon again
- Fixed armorer and lore keeper hit boxes
- Fixed player collision sizes so they are less likely to get stuck
- Added audio back to combat and tutorial scenes
Currently Investigating:
- Additional issues with combat freezing potentially
- Potential issues with map generation
- Archer arrow onslaught freezes combat
- Tank Taunt might not taunt enemies
